Aside from our own fundraising, Cancer Research UK has featured Irene in a number of its mail and email fundraising campaigns with great success and Irene has been the figurehead of three specific research projects into the early diagnosis of lung cancer.
In recognition of the innovative fundraising work in Irene’s name, Cancer Research UK awarded us a Special Commendation in the 2015 Flame of Hope Awards as Pioneer of the Year.
